QUADs are compatible with both SDM and RDM masts.
With an SDM mast the sail will be more rotative with a perfectly blocked hollow on the front which gives more power.

By using an RDM mast the sail will become more overlapping, giving more flexibility. It will be particularly suitable for all types of freemove and bump & jump boards.
